About the competition
Barclays Aspiring Football Writer Competition is a collaboration between Barclays, title sponsor of the Premier League, and the Football Writers’ Association, which aims to provide up-and-coming UK writers with a taste of life as a top journalist reporting on the Barclays Premier League.
If you’re a budding football writer based in the UK then we’re looking for you! Submit your articles and match reports on the Barclays Premier League, and we’ll publish the best entries right here and on MailOnline, Britain’s leading newspaper website, every month.
You’ll also be able to check out tips and advice from some of the most celebrated football writers in the country, including The Sun’s Shaun Custis and The Times’ Matt Dickinson, by navigating to ‘Journalist videos’ above.
